Chargeback Representment

In the event that a chargeback occurs, market.com can represent merchants to the acquiring bank and guide them through the process of having the chargeback cancelled.
 

Market.com handles two types of representments on behalf of clients:
 

Auto representments:

• Chargebacks on refunded sales
• Chargebacks on 3D transaction
   

Representment with documents: when a merchant wishes to cancel a chargeback

• The merchant is required to supply proof that the customer made the transaction knowingly
• When successful, the issuer cancels the chargebacks and merchants may see the cancellations in market.com online reports.
